Common Questions

Everything you need to know about signing in, the member portal, and how HPN access works.

How do I log in to the member portal?

The member portal uses Whop OAuth sign-in. When you click “Member Login,” you’ll be redirected to Whop to authorize your account. Once authorized, you’re brought straight back to the HPN member portal. No separate password needed — your Whop account handles authentication.

How does the member portal work?

The member portal is HPN’s private section of the website, separate from your Whop dashboard. Once you sign in with Whop, you’ll have access to member-only content and features based on which HPN product you hold. Your access is tied directly to your active Whop membership and updates automatically if your membership status changes.

Is there an alternative way to sign in without Whop?

Yes. On the login page you can sign in with a magic link sent to your email instead. Enter the email address tied to your active Whop membership and you’ll receive a one-time sign-in link. The email has to match your Whop account or access won’t be granted.

What if I can’t log in or I’m getting an access error?

First make sure your Whop membership is active on a product that includes member portal access. If you’re using the email sign-in, check that the email you entered matches your Whop account. If you signed in with Whop OAuth and it says you don’t have access, your membership may be inactive or on a plan that doesn’t include portal access. For billing or membership issues, use Whop support from your dashboard.

Is my information shared or sold?

No. Your email is never sold or shared with third parties. It is used only to authenticate your account, confirm your membership status, and send you HPN updates.

What is an alumni profile?

An alumni profile is your public listing on the HPN Alumni page. It shows your artist name, role, bio, city, social links, and a showcase of your work. Any active member can submit one — once approved, you’re listed in the directory and other members can find and connect with you.

How do I create an alumni profile?

Log into the member portal and go to the Profile Settings tab. Fill out the form and hit Submit for Review. Once submitted your profile goes into a review queue. You’ll be notified when it’s approved or denied.

How long does alumni profile approval take?

Reviews typically complete within 12 hours. You’ll receive a notification in the portal once a decision is made. No action needed on your end while you wait.

How do I DM another member directly?

To send a DM to another member you need two things: an approved alumni profile and your Discord account linked in Profile Settings. Once both are done, a DM button will appear on the cards of members who also have Discord linked. Click it and it opens a direct message with them in Discord.

To get a DM button on your own card so others can reach you, complete the same two steps.

How do I get access to the community?

Join through Whop. Once your membership goes active you’ll get access to the Discord community and any other HPN products included in your plan. To access the member portal on this site, hit “Member Login” and sign in with your Whop account.

Where do I go for support?

All member support is handled through Whop, not through this website or email. Open a support ticket directly from your Whop dashboard. If you have a partnership or media inquiry, use the contact page.

My membership is active but I still can’t access the portal. What do I do?

A few things to check:

Make sure the product you purchased includes member portal access. Not all HPN products on Whop include access to the portal. Check the product page or the Access page to confirm yours does.

If the product does include portal access and you still can’t get in, try signing out and back in through Whop OAuth. If you’re using email sign-in, make sure the email matches the one on your Whop account exactly. Still stuck, reach out through Whop support.
