HPN™ — Home Producer Network™
This page is the central index for HPN’s current site disclosures and documents.
Publication status
This is an operational disclosure draft based on the current codebase. No effective date, governing-law clause, refund promise, age rule, or other business/legal fact is stated here unless it is verified by the application. Business owners and counsel must approve the open items in the internal review register before this page is treated as a final legal document.
Terms of Service
The site currently supports public pages, account creation and authentication, preview access, member-portal access, and member-only community features. The codebase does not contain an approved general Terms of Service document or a terms-acceptance flow.
Open item: publish approved terms covering account rules, acceptable use, suspension/termination, warranties, liability, dispute handling, governing law, and document versioning before relying on this section as a contract.
Membership & billing
Products and prices are configured in HPN’s product catalog. The application supports Stripe Checkout for one-time payment or subscription modes, Stripe webhooks for membership status updates, and a Stripe customer portal for accounts with a stored billing profile. The application does not store payment card numbers.
Product records may contain access, billing interval, trial, offer, inventory, and cancellation-state fields. The applicable product page and Stripe Checkout session are the source of the transaction details shown to a customer.
Open item: confirm and publish the refund, cancellation, renewal, trial, failed-payment, tax, currency, chargeback, access-after-cancellation, and consumer-rights rules. None are assumed here.
Founder program
The application supports product-specific Founder fields, Founder claims, Founder status, Founder titles, and calling-card grants. These are data-driven entitlements; a specific Founder offer must be read from its live product configuration and checkout terms.
Open item: confirm the exact Founder offer, any spot limit, lifetime or recurring access language, eligibility, reservation expiry, transferability, and what happens if the underlying product or membership changes. The code alone does not establish those business promises.
Community & content
Authenticated members can use community features that store posts, comments, likes/dislikes, feedback threads, selected profile information, artist submissions, wins submissions, and supported media. Administrative moderation and approval states exist for several submission types.
The codebase does not currently publish a complete user-content license, ownership rule, moderation standard, reporting/appeal process, or deletion/retention schedule.
Open item: approve those rules before presenting member content terms as binding. Do not infer ownership transfer or a broad promotional license from the existence of a database field.
Competition agreement
The current competition implementation is Stage 1: a public information and preview surface backed by competition settings, dates, rules, submission-requirement, reward, voting-description, and judge-assignment fields. The codebase does not currently contain the participant-entry, submission, team, voting, winner, prize, or affirmative legal-acceptance flow needed for a complete competition agreement.
Accordingly, the competition page is informational only until those flows and the applicable rules are implemented and approved. This section does not grant HPN a content license, promise a reward, establish judging rules, or create a participant liability waiver.
Open item: approve competition eligibility, age/geography restrictions, entry requirements, content permissions, collaborator clearances, judging/voting/tie-break rules, prizes and taxes, disqualification, appeals, cancellation, liability, and the exact acceptance record required before entry.
Teams & collectives
The competition schema includes a team competition type and team-formation date fields, but no participant team/collective workflow is implemented in the reviewed codebase.
Open item: define whether teams or collectives will exist, who may create or join them, how collaborators authorize submissions, how ownership and permissions work, and how disputes are handled before enabling this feature.
Privacy & cookies
This section records current technical behavior; it is not a substitute for a jurisdiction-specific privacy notice.
- Accounts: the application stores an email address and may store an account identifier, Google account identifier, email-verification timestamp, login timestamps, phone number/country, membership and entitlement records, and community-submission data.
- Authentication: email magic links, Google OAuth, and optional Discord OAuth are present in the codebase. Discord connection data is used for community access and role synchronization.
- Billing: Stripe handles hosted checkout and billing-portal interactions. HPN stores Stripe identifiers and transaction/membership metadata needed to reconcile access.
- Email: SMTP/PHPMailer and Resend are used by different mail paths. The unsubscribe endpoint stores an opted-out email address for automated-email suppression; account/security and portal-notification behavior is separately implemented.
- Analytics and attribution: when configured, GA4 is loaded. For a logged-in member, the shared header sends a SHA-256 hash of the lowercase session email as GA4 user-provided data. This should not be described as anonymous data. UTM attribution stores campaign data and a random browser identifier; the database schema also has an IP-hash field.
- Browser storage: the site uses secure session cookies, a 180-day
_hpn_uidattribution cookie when needed, session/local storage for attribution and the cookie-notice state, and other short-lived operational cookies used by site scripts.
Open item: counsel/business owner must approve the purposes, legal bases, vendor roles, international transfers, rights process, retention periods, cookie consent model, children/age treatment, security disclosures, and jurisdiction-specific notices. The former page’s CCPA, children, deletion, and retention statements have intentionally not been carried forward as verified facts.
Copyright & trademarks
The site uses the names HPN and Home Producer Network and displays trademark symbols in site copy. The application also serves HPN branding, graphics, and community materials. Ownership, registration status, notice-and-takedown contact, permissions, and any license to member-submitted material require confirmation before more specific legal language is published.
Open item: verify the rights holder/entity, approved trademark wording, copyright notice, designated contact, and user-content license.
Contact
For business inquiries, partnerships, media, and general inquiries, use the contact page or contact@homeproducernetwork.com. The current site directs member support to tickets inside the HPN Discord server.
Open item: confirm the official legal-notice address and the dedicated privacy, copyright, and legal-service contact process before adding them to a final document.
